About DSH Carpentry and Design

Great Tew village shop and pub drawn by Sarah HollandLocated in the picturesque Cotswold village of Great Tew, near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire, DSH Carpentry and Design has been creating bespoke timber buildings since 1995. Each project, from green oak barns to children's play houses, are individually designed and craftsman-built by David and Sarah Holland.

Having both come from careers in theatre scenery construction, David and Sarah are used to pushing the boundaries and creating structures which are truly unique and fit for task. They build to a design rather than designing within the constraints of normal building methods.

DSH Carpentry and Design can be contacted on 07889 362508 or you can email your timber building enquiry and David or Sarah Holland will be pleased to call you back.

David Holland is a highly skilled and experienced carpenter. Originally a specialist stage set builder, David's passion for the beauty of wood and timber construction led to DSH's expansion into the outdoor carpentry and building market.

All the projects undertaken by DSH are project managed and built by David. Whether your garden or outdoor building is constructed in soft wood or hardwood, David's skills and attention to detail ensures your project exceeds your every expectation.

Today, David's carpentry skills extend to both timber buildings and the construction of stage scenery for theatres across the country. To discuss your outdoor carpentry needs, phone David Holland now on or send an email enquiry here.

When you commission a bespoke garden building from DSH Carpentry and Design, Sarah Holland will be your designer. Originally trained at Reigate Art College, Sarah is an accomplished scenic artist who specialises in turning your ideas and desires into reality. Working alongside David, who provides the logistical input, Sarah will design your timber building to meet all your needs, constraints, and aspirations.

Artists' impressions and renditions

Before work starts on your timber building project, Sarah Holland will prepare sketches from which your design will be based. Once your design is agreed, she will prepare a full set of working drawings.

Because DSH offers a truly bespoke service, you might like to take advantage of Sarah Holland's artistic skills by requesting a three-dimensional rendition or artist's impression of your chosen timber building. Many of Sarah's renditions become treasured art, framed and gracing the walls of her clients' homes.

For more information on how DSH Carpentry and Design can help you make your garden or outdoor timber building dreams a reality, phone David and Sarah Holland on 07889 362508. Alternatively, you can reach DSH by email.
